Default Ray Rice vomiting and may have the flu

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playof...e=NFLHeadlines

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice started feeling sick Friday afternoon and had been vomiting at the team hotel in Pittsburgh early Friday evening, according to ESPN's Bob Holtzman.

It's unclear whether the illness will affect his status for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Rice had 17 carries for 57 yards and five catches for 42 yards and a touchdown in last weekend's AFC Wild Card win against Kansas City.

That could make his hydration levels problematic.

    Lovely day to be sick.

    NFL Playoffs today

    AVC News 1/15/2011

Light snow, temperatures in the high 20s to low 30s and moderate winds are predicted for today's Ravens-Steelers game at Heinz Field. Forecasters said the snow should not accumulate more than an inch, but could start falling before the 4:30 p.m. kickoff. Winds of up to 15 miles per hour also could be a factor.

Yep, that's some fine weather to be outdoors if you're flu-ed up!

Knowing our luck, it'll probably just make him lighter and faster come gametime!

This reminds me of something. I don't know if you guys ever watched a show called "Coach" that was on back in the 90s? Well, I remember an episode where the team made the playoffs and was playing in Buffalo against the Bills. Luther (team's defensive coordinator and dimwit) went to some local restaurant to get the team Buffalo wings. The whole team got sick after eating the Buffalo wings. Luther was stupid and told the local Buffalo restaurant owner who he was and that the wings were for the team. The guy gave him some bad wings to make the team sick before the game. Do you think we have somebody to thank at the hotel for this? Maybe Rice got some "bad pierogies" yesterday? I'm just joking of course, but it just reminded of that episode, since he suddenly got sick just a day before the game.

If he feels sick now, wonder how he is going to feel when Harrison puts him down.

Like I said in another thread he is just building up his excuse. He didn't play much in the last game either if I remember right. Too much of a ***** to play against the Steelers. Doesn't want to get embarrassed. Should be embarrassed anyway, purple pecker head

I wonder what Rice's 40 yard time is with an IV in one hand...?

Not as good as Ray Lewis' 40 yard time with a knife in one hand.

He'll play. They'll give him I.V fluids before the game and probably at halftime also.

I watched him come out of the tunnel on N.F.L. Network. He was thumping his chest so I would expect he's ready.
