Default The Jets are WAAAAAAAAY out of their element! It will cost them!

I just watched the Jet's gush all over the Ben and the Steelers on ESPN!

From Rex to Reavis they were talking about how great Ben and the Steelers are!

This has to be the result of the leagues' warnings last week and it has to be taking the mouths out of their element!

They won't know how to act!

What were the league's warnings last week? Did Adolph Goodell tell coaches and players to not trash talk and take away that fun?

ESPN reported that the league said they would take trash talk into account when determining any fines for illegal hits and the like. I think it was actually directed primarily at Bart Scott who threatened to end Wes Welker's career in response to his foot filled press conference. In the past Scott has also threatened to murder Hines Ward and talked about how much he regretted not leading with his head and intentionally injuring Roethlisberger when he put that huge hit on him a couple years ago. There's always some idiot who has to ruin it for everyone else.

So basically Roger Goodell and his moron minions gave themselves the ability to pick and choose what they deem "trash Talk" worthy of being fined and the amount of the fine?

Why am I not surprised. NFLPA needs to grow a pair and the owners in this league need to start standing up for their employees and the integrity of this league that Roger Goodell continues to leave steaming pile of hot **** all over

Goodell now says he wants the league to outline what is and isn't acceptable "trash talk". Hopefully this means they're going to put out a list of acceptable phrases that players have to select from when they want to knock the other team.

First off, at least somebody at least bought a Towel, so the School got a little from it.

On to the stomp - it'll be interesting to see if the Curse of the Towel extends to fans and not just players on other teams. Some people never learn (although the chaps in the video appear to be fairly incapable of said activity).

I'm glad they disrespected the towel, now it's gonna cost them. Somebody send them Jeff Fisher's phone number.
