Default Cleveland looking to deal. . .

Carmona and Sizemore. Would anyone be interested in these guys? What do you think it would take? What would you be willing to give up?

The Pirates have already done their damage for the year, unless you're talking our worthless new first baseman to be included.
Remember, that which hath not killed you, will try again...................

Carmona has a lot of Huntington written on him. Probably knows the guy very well, had a good season last year, still young, makes about $6 million per with a $7 million option for next season. He is a contact pitcher with the K rate of Zach Duke for a righty but a low Hit rate.

Just based on his age he wouldn't be very cheap but based on his age, he's intriguing too. Indians are probably more concerned with dumping salary here. I doubt it happens though. It looks like they are set for a big 5th starter competition with what we have and are looking around for BP options which are very scarce this offseason.

Sizemore if he can stay healthy is a 25-35 HR guy that hits for average at best. Makes about $7.5, option next year for $8.5, neither of which are terrible for what Sizemore can produce when healthy and he's only 27-28 in his prime years but again, he can't hit lefties which is a current problem.

Personally I think it would take a lot to get either and Huntington doesn't seem like he's willing to splurge on prospects just YET for players, not until his team and players now show an improvement themselves for him to take that gamble and risk

He's a cheap slight improvement over what we had. nothing worthless about that at all. options were limited in FA and we needed to improve even if slightly. If Hurdle can use a platoon well and do some micromanaging, this move will be an improvement over last year at both 1B and RF

It took me a long time to realize you meant Huntington. I was so confused.
But yeah, I wouldn't mind this one bit.
