Default Aaron Rogers 70%....Ben Roethlisberger 30%

ESPN is conducting a poll asking "who would you rather have QB'ing you team in the Super Bowl?"

At first I was ****ed/insulted but when you look at a few things I can see it......until the game is over!

    1. Rogers is a prototype QB
    2. The world still hates Ben
    3. Ben is unorthodox, Rogers is a classic QB

For my money, Ben is the #1 choice of not only he and Rogers but the entire NFL.......and I (official proclamation) am not a homer!

The joy of rapid sample polls. I feel compelled to say that I quite relish the idea of being underdogs.

Lets put it this way. Theres 2 minutes left in the Super Bowl your down by 4 with 1 timeout. Who do you want behind center Rodgers or Roethlisberger? If its still 70 to 30 than I would say 70% of the people in the poll dont follow football very closely.

I remember when Roger Staubach played and he was the master of the two minute come back drill. If the ball was in his hands and a score would win it, you could **** near count it. Ben is like that!

Absolutely..........but there are alot of Ben haters out there.....which is why I would love nothing more than to see us win this SB......it'll drive the haters crazy...some of 'em just can't or won't get over it..

Basically the Steelers have more enemies than do the Packers so in these unscientific polls, where their team is not involved, the fans vote by who they dislike less.

These polls are garbage....ask experts who'd they would pick.

got the hate factor there...as a person not a football player...forgot the envy or jealousy factor though......as a football player

can't put classic with Rodgers yet..hasn't been around long enough or done anything...however I don't dislike him as a player or person.

It may even be anti-Steelers more than anti-Ben. People hate winners. Unless of course you are a fan. And that's all these things really prove. If you wouldn't rather have Ben you are stupid. But if it was a choice between Brady and Rodgers. Show on the other foot. I'd rather have Brady but I would vote Rodgers out of principle. Same thing really.

I think a lot of today's fans also have a fantasy bias!!! BB may not pass for 4k yards and 30+ td's, but who ****ing cares? Ben just wins big games PERIOD! It may not be as pretty, but it is consistent!

Last time I checked, Ben carved up the Pack defense for over 500yds and 3 tds last season...to end a 5 game losing streak! I believe it was the best outing of any NFL QB last season. He could've easily thrown in the towel. No quit in this guy...

Problem here is who is considered an "expert". You ask that question and then they ask Chris Berman or Marshall Faulk

How did Rogers become a football god all of a sudden? Really?

Ben simply never gets the credit and respect of others. all he does is produce, win and get rings and every year, week to week when the Top QB's are mentioned in the league it's always (Brady, Manning, Brees, or Rogers or Phillips). Ben is still relegated to the category of "not good enough" game manager and to me it's bull****.

I'd love to see nothing but Ben disrespect these 2 weeks. It gives us something to ***** about but along with being underdogs, it puts a chip on Ben's shoulder and who better to have a chip on their shoulder than the QB?

I don't know about the fantasy thing so much. I don't think Hines gets gaudy FF points yet he is a fan favorite across the league from what I can see. People may call him dirty or whatever but no one would be ****ed if he joined their team.
