    Default Super Bowl Plans

Ok we've all had a week, literally and figuratively, to digest after the AFC C-ship. So let's talk lighter fare here and go away from the ad nauseum analysis of the game. I'm sure we've all been hashing out plans and what not for watching the Big Game.

So let's have it. What is everyone doing?

Bar? Home? Guests? Food? Drink? Superstitions? Etc etc.

I'll be at the same bar out this way that I've watched the last 2 Super Bowl wins and also Game 7 of the Cup Finals that we won. So my crew and I are 3-0 in Title Games there. Gotta go back there of course.

The food will be whatever bar food junk we can handle and the drink will be copious amounts of Miller Lite. I've gotta wear my, unwashed for the year, Polamalu jersey to keep that superstition alive as well.

I will be watching at home, as per usual. Can't stand being around a lot of people when watching the Steelers. Yes I take it too serious.

Food will be wings and maybe some nachos. Beer will be Rolling rock and plenty of it. Topped off with a victory glass of Gentlemen Jack............

    hopefully

I'm like the Sodfather. I'll be at home, with nobody watching the game with me. I won't be alone but, I'll be to myself and for the most part unbothered.

I can't watch games with people, the Steelers lose. It's been that way going back to 2008. Steelers are 0-6 when I watch the game with someone. (watched the game against the Jets with my Dad this year. Watched the Giants and Colts loses in 2008 with the father in law) and a few last year.

Superstition tells me to continue sitting alone with Beer and typing in the GDT :beer :

It's the usual Sunday drill here (well, maybe with a few more snacks).

I took my Terrible Towel to the rally on Friday, as I did before the last Super Bowl we were in, and recharged its mojo.

On game days, I can't come into contact with any Steelers merch apart from the Terrible Towel. I do and there's a negative pattern.

The Towel is part of a mojo ritual for the O.

Sadly, I also have a mojo ritual for the D - an example for this is the goal line stand against the Jets. I was down in the basement at the time, dealing with cat litter. That's the D ritual. It only works once a game, so timing is everything.

See what I put myself through to try to influence the games? You're welcome, Steeler Nation!

Well, my grandiose plans fell through this morning when some forgotten appointments on the following Monday morning came to light... So... Come Sunday I'll have a date with just my big screen and laptop... Nothing more...

Were all here because we are introverted lol. I'll be there just with the Familly. Screaming at the kids to get out of the way lol. I wish I could send them out of the house for the game.

Will be in my game day jersey, home Lambert (short sleeves, one of these days I'm going to get a long sleeve one), can't put it on till game time. When I'm at home I usually watch the whole game standing, if things are going well I tend to stay in one spot.....going to a neighbors for a Super Bowl party....probably do the same thing....I'll have people yelling at me to sit down, but if things are going good, I ain't moving.....and no matter how things are going, I can always slip back to my house.....I can always take a plate or two with me!
