I'd love to say goodbye to those four. However, Arians ain't going nowhere.

Hills, Essex. Eason, Spaeth, Dixon, Battle, Suisham, Mewelde Moore (because I want to see Dwyer and Redmond get more touches), Will Allen, Ryan Mundy, Steve McLendon, one or both Scotts.

--Need to sign FA OL and DBs and draft two of each, if we can't sign any. Then need PK, DE or NT.

25 points on a good defense with a Quarterback who didn't have his best day and won the battle of yardage and offensive production. Bruce Arians didn't coach a bad game if the Packers offense is the standard.

I agree..BA wasn't the problem for this game.....but he is always suspect in the future...for me....because of some of his past poor game plans IMO.... Sunday the problem was execution....for a change...doesn't happen often...definately bad timing.

Until we have a suitable replacement, McFadden should stay IMO.

Gay is cannon fodder, we should be able to pick up anyone off of a practice squad somewhere to ride the bench and chase WR's into the endzone as well as Gay does.

    Madison doesn't matter.

Squeezum has a good chance of not making the team next year IMO. Depends on who we bring into camp. He has a shot but it's up in the air as far as I'm concerned.

Farrior? Again, until we have a suitable replacement. He's getting older by the second. Great player but time's running out for him.

This could be a tricky draft. Hines isn't long for a Steeler jersey, nor is Hampton. Both getting up in years and thinking about retirement. Both key positions that will be difficult to fill. Same for Troy. Not too early to be thinking about his replacement.

Oh yeah, the O-line. After Pouncey, the rest is patchwork, but why should anyone think we'll address the line in the draft this year?

Every once in a blue moon the Steelers go out there and get a solid free agent - like Bettis. Once in a blue moon, so don't expect free agency to replace these players - with solid players that is. Maybe a few journeymen here and there.

    Draft priorities: D-backs, O-line (yeah, right), D-line.

    Secondary draft priorities: ILB, WR

A good RB would be nice but not a deal killer.

I wouldn't waste a pick on a RB because of Mendy, Dwyer and Redman.

NT or CB could be first round choices, if the right players are there. Troy is getting older and his injury history si well known, but I'm not wild about Clark and would draft--as I suggested--two or three DBs.

We need talent and youth on the OL, draft at least two players here.

Well I think you have to pick between Gay or McFadden because I know they aren't great but we can't go into the season with an unproven rookie who could be worse! Good chance of it actually. If you get something decent in FA fair play but usually there is a reason someone is FA. Sux or wants too much money. I'd keep Gay, I think most games he was serviceable. The bad games stick out but BMac is ALWAYS hurt, kick him to the curb IMO. Other than I don't care that much. I'll wait to see what we have in training camp and then start a list.

Seppy and Suishy no. I think they will be here. I am not even sure how they played bad? Sep has gotten hurt but not sure that's his fault he is a good punter. Suishy has nailed the FGs most of em. The squib is the coaches decision.

Steelers lose DBs coach to Arizona
    Thursday, February 10, 2011
    By Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The loss of secondary coach Ray Horton to the Arizona Cardinals might be the only change to the Steelers coaching staff for 2011.

Coach Mike Tomlin wants to retain both coordinators who are in the final year of their contracts -- Dick LeBeau on defense and Bruce Arians on offense -- and does not plan changes at any other coaching positions.
