    Default Unfortunately I predicted it..........

not the Steelers losing...but I said all week long prior to the game to Steeler and Packer fans...the team that scores a defensive TD will win.....just happened not to be us.

My reasoning...simple....both teams won their respective conference championships that way....that was the difference in both games.

I think the team that was better prepared, more disciplined, had a better gameplan and executed better won...And they did.

McCarthy ran circles around Tomlin and Co. And he's also the Packers OC, talk about a pretty good two for one deal!

like i said this ones on the players bud your reaching for something thats not there-the fact the steelers were still in it is actually a complement to the coaches if you think about it!

Really, what did the coaches do exactly to keep the Steelers in the game? Was it the 52 yard FG that Tomlin elected to go for after Suisham barely made an extra point attempt? Or was it the two wasted TO's in the 2nd half because the team wasn't prepared and was playing the game like it was Week 1 and everyone was rusty? Or maybe it was the bone-headed penalties on ST's that have been a common theme all year? Or maybe it was the lack of any kind of urgency or no-huddle on offense?

The team looked flat, unprepared and undisciplined throughout the whole game. No, I don't think I'm over reaching at all on this one.

Where did I blame the loss solely on the coaches? Ben was BAD. The whole team was bad and when the whole team is bad what does that tell you?

I have to disagree...perhaps handling losing is not your forte'...but not only as a Steeler fan...but also a football fan...your assessment is askewed IMHO...look at the stats...

I think you're looking at just a stat line and not looking at what actually happened out on the field. Was the team not flat to start the game? You really think the team looked prepared for the game? Was there not bone-headed mistakes by the team? TO's wasted? A 52 yard FG attempt?

The Steelers defense in the 2nd half tightened up until the 4th quarter (aided by about 4 Packer WR drops) and the Steelers offense kept getting the ball back and did virtually nothing with it.

Stats may not lie but they sure can be misleading. Look at Ben's numbers. He sure didn't play as well as those numbers would indicate.

You really think the team looked prepared for the game? Was there not bone-headed mistakes by the team? TO's wasted? A 52 yard FG attempt? Flat..no....every game this year the D gives up an early TD....did they get deflated with the pick 6..yes...did they rebound...yes...was there not bone head mistakes BY BOTH TEAMS...yes....there are every game...nothing new....T.O's wasted...no...apparantly there were desperately needed at the time they used them...rather them burn a time out than to run a play that they know won't work..or get caught in a D that they know they will get burned...did we lose the game because we didn't have enough T.O's??? ...no....do I wish they punted instead of trying the FG....sure...after he missed it......non factor...he was indoors...broadened his range...he was kicking touchbacks on kickoffs....that was a first.

The Steelers defense in the 2nd half tightened up until the 4th quarter (aided by about 4 Packer WR drops) and the Steelers offense kept getting the ball back and did virtually nothing with it. The D forced a FG when they needed to late in the 4th...those drops weren't the first ones ever in football history...happens every game..........the O did nothing in the 4th???? not sure what game you watched....we were moving the ball...in FG range when we fumbled at the begining of the quarter....went down by 11...again...and got it back to 3.....and still had a chance to win the game on the last possesion

There is nothing misleading about the stats...you have to include the Int's in the stats...they are there......only reason 1 can say he didn't play well was the Int's.

FTR: Teams that have scored Pick 6's in the Super Bowl are 11-0. ...so you didn't really going out on a limb with your prediction.

And if Collins gets tackled at the 1 yard line, the Packers probably still win. Too many Steelers mistakes, at all levels, cost them.

My favorite prediction was the one where people said not having Pouncey would be a huge factor. I don't think it was a factor at all. Nice job Doug Legursky!!!
