while the difference in the score was the defensive TD....I got to thinking tonight that the fumble hurt more. They actually overcame the 2 INT's...were playing competitively on both sides of the ball....we were moving the ball well.........and had momentom IMO.

The fumble. The pick-6 was early, and we started to come back and play well. We should have had at least 3 there. PLUS - watching the D let the team score right after that hurt too. Just a totally bad turn around of momentum

The fumble was a crusher, but we still came back and a chance. My choice would be the pick-6. While it was early in the game, it all of a sudden changed our approach. It also was the difference in the final score...... 7 pts. I also think the second INT was a killer too.

I realize the pick six put points on the board but, we seemed to overcome that as someone mentioned before. I thought the fumble was the straw that broke the camels back. The air went out for us and the Packers used it as an energy boost.

I read on another site that opposing fans like the Seahawks, Ravens and Steeler haters are ticked off that us fans are not taking the loss so badly. They're upset that we are not placing blame on the officials, Goodell or what have you and that we are accepting it as.we did it to ourselves.

Don't know how true that is but, just what I have read.

I am glad that most people see the truth that we did do it to ourselves and the Packers couldn't help but win.

Steelers fans know football and we all know we did it to ourselves. We believe there will be other Super Bowls... unlike some teams.

For me, I'm happy that we even made it to the Super Bowl! With all the adversity this season who da thunk it?

The 4th down incomplete hurt the worst. Heath was wide open, and if Ben would have hit him, I think Heath runs for 15-20 yards, gets' the Steelrs at the Packers 40.

Heck, i'm still optimistic that Ben can do what Joe Montana did and win 4 Superbowls in 9 years.

I also think Troy, Harrison, Kemoeatu, Foote, Keisel, Taylor, Hoke, and Heath can get 4.

I honestly think this team still has what it takes to win another Superbowl in the next 2 years. Let's look at it this way. The Steelers, Patriots, Colts, Jets, Chargers, and Ravens are all pretty equal in some degree with one another, and I say the Steelers can get to another one in the next year or so if the luck goes their way again, which it will. The offense is young, and the D is getting older. Either way, just need a little tweaking, but theyll be around the lombardi hunt for sure.

The fumble was the nail in the coffin. If the Steelers instead, score 6 on that drive, we are basking in lombardi #7 right now, but instead we're still looking for it. The window is still pretty wide open for some more hardware with the right tweaking, and I see things being addressed.

The fumble by far. When that happened I was thinking "How many more setbacks and mistakes can a team have in a game like this and still win it?" The Packers were sort of on the ropes at that point and the Steelers just kept making stupid, self-inflicting mistakes. It was beyond frustrating.

What was also frustrating on that play is Johnson misses a block and then just stands there like a complete dumbass while the ball is bouncing on the turf right behind him. PICK IT UP! ARGHHH, I don't want to even think about it anymore!

Bottomline is you take away one or the other and the Steelers win IMO. I picked the fumble just because I really felt like we had GB on their heels at that point in the game. A TD on that drive and I think GB would have started to fall apart.

Strange that when you vote on a thread it will registered as if you post in it. I voted on this a little bit ago and looked in the forum stats to see what the new posts were and it was bumped. I click on it and there's Lloyd's post from February.

I added the to the Pick-6 vote. Pick 6 is automatic. It's not just a turnover it results in instant points. You don't even give your defense a chance to defend and keep it to 3 points. Pick 6's are one of the most devastating plays that can happen in a game.

I know there was momentum going with Mendy's fumble, but that fumble is like Ben's other Interception. Just a mere turnover. Mendy's fumble and Ben's Int that wasnt a Pick-6 should be the ones compared, the Pick 6 really stands alone.
